Yes, you´re right - it would be best to focus on one thing and make this run perfect.
So what freescale hardware will be availible to buy for OS4.1FE right now?
Do you add some more in the future?

Well, the PA-6T in the X-1000/Nemo is already out of print, then the p5020 in the X-5000/Cyrus, the p1022 in the A-1222/Tabor, the p5040 in the (unnamed), and whatever Trevor is going to announce at AmiWest...

Thanks for the hints, the "p1022 in the A-1222/Tabo" looks like a nice entry-level model.
Only thing is, I can not find a shop (not even on A-EON site) to buy it :?:

It's not on sale yet, neither is the X-5000, although that is "soon" to be available for pre-order. I don't know how long it will be before the Tabor is available with OS4, although some betatesters are running Linux on it already.

which value is the "swap"? when I do "memstat", I get a whole bunch of - mostly "xy.. pages", but can not see "swap = MB free"

what to lookout for?

man, it seems like Update 1 does allow for up to 1GB Z3 RAM now :o
