Well, other more random/difficult to track down USB issues aside, I have one issue that keeps occuring occasionally (like once or twice per GB of reading).

I get this: Task "EHCI Controller Task Unit 0" crashed. It is a DSI and it *always* occurs at address 0xA002000C. It is ignorable and the transfer then continues as if nothing had happened. I ran md2sum on the (few 100MB large) file I copied and it copied correctly even though this DSI happened and was ignored.

Something else that happens even more often is that DOS freezes for about 10 seconds during a transfer (file copy). Everything that accesses DOS, like playing music (after IO buffer runs out) and the USB transfer itself then halts, and then continues normally after 10 or so seconds. I find this behaviour very wierd. Input and intuition does not hang during this period.

I have a NEC USB U-143 card in the 3rd and lowermost 33MHz slot. All information you need should be in the crashlog I will attach.

Yeah I use the hidden function a lot. Handy for logs.

Could you do me a biiiiiiiiig favour? Could you try do make a "dumpdebugbuffer" right after this freezes? Please!!!!

Actually I attached it to my original EHCI report but it may have been missed. Haven't got it onto Bugzilla yet. Have had to go out evey night this week.
