If it can be of any help, I post my results of coW3D6:
AmigaOne X1000 Radeon R9 270X AmigaOS 4.1 FE (no update 1, so 4.1.7)
coW3D6-os4 182fps
coW3D6-os4-Nova 624fps
AmigaOne X1000 Radeon R9 270X AmigaOS 4.1 FEUpd1 (with update 1, so "4.1.8")
coW3D6-os4 155fps
coW3D6-os4-Nova 402fps

Can you also test GfxBench2D? For me upd1 is a lot slower that FE.
It would be good to see if the issue is replicated on the SAM machines. Thanks.

GfxBench2D gives slower results here too.
I'll just post the last lines, that is the Random test. The AmigaONE X1000 configuration is the same as above. Besides some default commodities (AmiDock disabled) nothing is running in background.
