As a novice, I would like some helps installing Amiga 4.1 on my PC. I originally purchased Amiga forever in 2012. They say I had to upgrade to it to get Amiga4.1 on a pic. So I did. It gave me what's called Amiga 7 forever. I'm getting nowhere. Am I using the correct software? Grateful to anyone who can assist.

Hi Kevin,

There are plenty of people who know more about emulation than I do, but as I understand it, Amiga Forever is a 68K emulator that emulates only OS 3.x, not OS 4.x (which is Power PC code).

I believe that the "A.L.I.C.E." kit from A-Eon runs OS 4.1 under WinUAE emulation, maybe that is what you need (WinUAE, that is).

You can indeed use Amiga Forever to load and run OS4.1
The latest version has PPC support built in.
