double mouse pointer with sdl games like scummvm

Hello im having trouble with almost every sdl game i can find, that is that i keep getting double mouse pointers over the sdl screen. one from sdl app and the other is amigaos mouse??


i tried some versions of the sdl.so but all the same im have the cd of amigaos 4.1 update 2 and update 3 installed .

I am the maintainer of the OS4 port of ScummVM

I don't have (and never got) such behaviour with ScummVM, though i remember (very faintly) having some (very old) SDL ports which had this behaviour.

iirc (and i tell that with a massive question mark) it went away after a new version of the display driver (Radeon 9200) surfaced which seemed to have fixed it.
It could also be (that is where my poor memory tricks me) that i switched gfx cards (from Radeon 9800 to 9200) which made it go away.

So, first question which GFX card do you have? X500? Does it have gfx onboard?

I saw your threads on the other fora and i don't think it has to do with SDL

It looks like your hardware sprite is drawn while it should be erased
(of course i could aswell talk utter crap , hope there's someone in here you knows the true answer and relieve me from my pain)

Hi im using a Radeon hd 4650 card pci-e 1g memory.

Are you a Radeon HD gfx driver beta tester then or do you use the one that comes with AmigaOS4?
