I tried that just now and no change. It is still a soft reboot.
Ok, unfortunatly you will need to wait for fix I'm afraid and I honestly don't know how else I could help you solve your issue right now :(

Well no one believes us, but OS 4.1 on the Classic Amiga (4000) has not performed a true hard reboot since update 4. From update 5 on, you have to either turn it off and then on, or hold down Ctrl+A+A for greater than 10 seconds.

you can also do a HARD-reboot by pressing Ctrl+ left alt + right alt..... works fine for me on A4000 !
