I only ever used a regular IDEfix, not the Express. And that was a looong time ago.
Are you absolutely sure the Express is supposed to work with OS4 as well?

The IDE fix express does work with 4.1, well at least the one i have from the new batch that was produced a few years ago does.

Yes, I have. Well for now I can live with it. Its too much hassle to get this working. But in case anyone wonders, be prepared for similar troubles. OS4.1 is worth it, though..
