I have a A1200 with Blizzard PPC card, Mediator PCI 1200TX, and a Creative SoundBlaster 128 model CT4750 attached to the third (from top) PCI slot. I have been trying to configure my sound card in 4.1FE but have been unsuccessful.

I have attempted to insert the driver for the sound card using the Elbox Multimedia CD by copying the sb128.audio to the Devs:AHI drawer and the SB128 file into the Devs:AudioModes drawer. But when I open AHI preferences I cannot locate the setting under Modes settings tab. Am I doing something wrong?

Does 4.1FE support SoundBlaster 128 card, or does it only support ESS Solo-1 cards?

You also need the audiomodes file for your card. The mode files go in SYS:Devs/AudioModes. If you found the sb128.audio driver on the Elbox CD, the audiomodes file should be there too.

Hi, AmigaOS 4.1FE doesn't directly support the Soundblaster, because it requires DMA (which we don't have for the Mediator), but there is a work around you can use:
