do you think that this kind of bug could also affect smb? I use smbfs client to share drawers/folders from pc to the amiga, so i copy files from pc to the amiga using dopus on the amiga (if i use workbench to open the drawer and copy files, they are all corrupted). If i try to copy archived files such as .zip or .rar, they are like corrupted and unreadable.. Do you think that update 3 could solve this problem?

CrossDosFileSystem has nothing to do with smb. The Samba protocol uses the Common Internet File System (cifs) to access the remote drives. This is an abstracted filesystem provided by each machine implementation, and as such CrossDOS is not involved.
