Sam440 refuses to boot startup-sequence [SOLVED]

Post by yssing »

I have this really strange issue, where my SAM440 simply wont auto execute startup-sequence.

I have tried the followin to no avail:
re-installing AOS.
Format HD0 and install AOS
Change filesystem
Change battery
Change harddrive
Checking all cables
Any odd combination of above
And still it refuses to auto execute. It just boots to amiga dos and from there I can write execute:startup-sequence and then it boots as it should.

I am lost here I have no idea what to do now, so I hope some one here can help me.

Check your keyboard and mouse, or remove them for testing. Skipping the startup-sequence can be done by pressing the <ctrl> key or the middle mouse button and you may have a broken keyboard or mouse sending it without you doing anything.
