Best 2Gb memory configuration:

I checked many ram company for add 2gb full system bosted on pegasos but the best result i had with

2x1Gb Crucial pc3200 system run perfect stable and full 2gb bosted!
1x1GB Kingstone pc3200 and 1x1Gb Buffalo pc3200 ... (kingostone in the first slot near the cpu the other in other slot)... system perfect working and it is stable.

Soon i will post exactly the serial of all the rambank

Serials of the rambank:
Crucial: PC3200U - 30331Z 1GB DDR 400 CL3 not ECC unbuffered (perfect woking with 2x modules)
Buffalo: PC3200U -30330-B1 1GB DDR 4000 CL3 Not ECC unbuffered (working great in second slot in couple with kingstone 3200 1GBDDR 400)
Kingstone: sorry i dont have the stick on it for know the serial

You probably have a "bad" motherboard revision then.

The first Pegasos2 i bought many years ago didn't work with 2gb, later on i bought another motherboard with a broken cpu card very cheap and that motherboard handles 2gb memory very well with the same memory modules that didn't work in the other machine.

http://www.powerdeveloper.org/forums/vi ... php?t=1761
they are said, that my actual revision is last for 2b1..
and here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegasos is also not very clear..

do you have some idea where obtain last firmware for 2b2?

Turn On your pegasos and press esc for not make the machine auto boot and load the os.
There you can see the Openfirmware revison and compare with Wikipedia site .
