Installing Quake 2 on X1000

Has anyone successfully installed the full version of Quake II on an X1000? I have tried but I get the error message "Quake_2_PPC_Installer. Interpreter: Executing non-function in line 10". Clicking "Proceed" quits the installer.
I am using Update 5.
