How to link to an URL from a program?

I'd like to know how I can link a button of my program to an URL.

Now that there's the pref "URL", how can I use it?
I didn't find anything in Autodocs about it.
Could someone tell me where to look at in Autodocs?

Might not be totally obvious to everybody, but have a look at the files about the launch-handler in SYS:Documentation/handlers.
