Since upgrading my X1000 to U1, holding both mouse buttons no longer invokes the ESup menu.
I have tried numerous times at different points of the boot process. It worked fine under FE

Thanks Raziel.
Changing to a different USB port worked. Very odd, the previous port always work under FE.

Re: Unable to access Early Startup since Update1
The mouse (the one that boots) in the X1000 doesn't need to go in a specific connection?
Re: Unable to access Early Startup since Update1
No, USB keyboard must be connected to the lower USB port closest to the Audio ports. USB mouse can be connected to any of the other available USB ports.
Re: Unable to access Early Startup since Update1
I didn't have the problem with amigaboot.of installed on my System partition by the update1 installer. However, once I copied the update1 amigaboot.of to the small FFS BDH0: partition at the beginning of my hard drive, I now have the same problem. Holding both mouse buttons does not bring up the early startup window. I can still press the "Scroll Lock" button on the keyboard to get the early startup window/menu.ddni wrote:Since upgrading my X1000 to U1, holding both mouse buttons no longer invokes the ESup menu.

Is this just an X1000 issue or does it affect all OS4 hardware?
