I'm about to switch graphics card in my X1000 and have look at this card.

As far as I could find out, it 3d supported in the Radeonhd 2.10 drivers from A-eon
Before I buy, I just ask here in the forum if it is properly understood?
Thanks

R9 270X holds the Curaçao XT chip and *should* be supported

Sorry, can't help with Linux, never had this OS installed myself, maybe ask in the Linux forums?

Sadly, it seems all cards that have Warp3D Nova dont have 3D (Compiz, OpenGL) under PPC Linux.
Probably no one was thinking of this, and when will it change ....

But as suggested, ask our Linux team in x1000 Linux section.

Huh, sometimes I wished there was PCI-E Radeon 9100 with 1GB VRAM and on 900MHz >:-)
Just learned once our ethernet.device is supported it wont do 1Gigabit, since Roadshow can do 150Mb/s or so ...
