@xeno74
I tried kernal 4.19-rc2 and haven't had any problems. However, since I just installed Ubuntu from the DVD recently, I'm wondering what all the other files in the 4.19-rc2 archive are for. Do they need to be installed somewhere too?

Hi Xenic,

Actually you need only the kernel (vmlinux-4.19) but If you need more hardware drivers, then you can copy the kernel modules directory for example 4.19.0-rc2_A-EON_AmigaOne_X1000_Nemo to /lib/modules.

Cheers,
Christian

No problems here with vmlinux-4.19-rc4.

(Plus Linus shows a kinder, gentler sisu!)
