Thank you Trevor for your support :P
What are your Devs/Monitors icon settings for the 6670?

Hi Mechanic,
Watching movie (except standard low quality DivX) is working but just in window mode, no in fullscreen mode for DVD or movie like these one

http://mirror.bigbuckbunny.de/peach/big ... rround.avi
http://download.blender.org/peach/bigbu ... nd-fix.avi

They are working well on my Peg2 or on my X1000 with the Radeon 9250

Is it working for you, in full screen ?

Here are my Devs/Monitors/Radeon HD 6670 :

CMPLENGTH=14
BOARDNAME=Radeon HD 6670
DDCMODE=All
(VSYNCMIN=60)
(VSYNCMAX=60)
(HSYNCMIN=31000)
(HSYNCMAX=85000)
(MODE=640x480@60)
(MODE=1280x720@60)
(MODE=800x600@60)
(MODE=1280x720@60)
(MODE=1024x768@60)
(MODE=1280x720@60)
(MODE=1440x900@60)
(MODE=1366x768@60)
(MODE=1920x1080@60)
(FAKENATIVEMODES=No)
(INTERRUPT=Yes)

Full screen, window, all working here on a 6850. I'm using DVPlayer (registered).

My Icon is named Radeon HD 68, and the settings are
CMPLENGTH=12
BOARDNAME= Radeon HD 6800
VSYNCMIN=60
VSYNCMAX=70
HSYNCMIN=31000
HSYNCMAX=70000

The BOARDNAME is what Ranger reports it as, under the Gfx Boards Tab, except for the "Series" part at the end.

I tried your method
1) Radeon HD 6 in Devs/Monitors
CMPLENGTH=11
BOARDNAME=Radeon HD 6600
VSYNCMIN=60
VSYNCMAX=70
HSYNCMIN=31000
HSYNCMAX=70000

or

2) Radeon HD 66 in Devs/Monitors
CMPLENGTH=12
BOARDNAME=Radeon HD 6600
VSYNCMIN=60
VSYNCMAX=70
HSYNCMIN=31000
HSYNCMAX=70000

But I have the same result with DVPlayer (registered too),
no fullscreen video output with
DvPlayer verbose Work:Bench/TestVideo/bunny_854x480_mp4.avi

but Ok in window mode.

Thank for your suggestions, Mechanic

(Head scratch :? )

I have tried several different things, but none of them.....er....succeed in making DVPlayer fail to work in full screen.

Out of ideas.

Here is an odd thing.

If I change the CMPLENGTH in the icon from 12 to 14 my 1366x768 mode disappears from Prefs/Screenmodes although it still shows under the monitors tab. Put it back to 12 and 1366x768 is available again. :?:

@zzd10h

You haven't told us yet what is "not working" when trying to watch that movie in fullscreen?

Is DVPlayer crashing?
Do you get a black screen when switching to fullscreen?
Do the fat Bunny sing...and your Amiga reboots?

What happens?

:-)

If the same happens for you as it happens for me...that i can watch everything in window but get a green striped picture in fullscreen (and that goes for every HD video i have tried so far) then yes, i can confirm your problems.
Switching back to window is possible.

RadeonHD 6870 here

Try some "normal" .avi's, they work fine.

Which version of avcodec.library do you have installed?
avcodec.library 53.611 Build #2B07 (13.05.2012)
Seems i need to try the old one.

edit: HD video added and avcodec.library

Only my second line is different;

Thanks
