The Installation guide which can be downloaded by registered users from the A-EON Website ( http://a-eon.com) under Support/Linux. (Login required).

From page 3 of the Guide:

At some stage in the future this Installation Guide will be totally re-written, but for the moment is can still be used for installing up to eight PowerPC Linux distributions. The Debian Squeeze installation is fully described and should be used as a guideline for installing the other distributions. However, although stable it has been superseded by some of the more modern PowerPC Linux distributions which are included in this Guide. At the time of writing, thanks to A1-X1000 beta tester Darren Stevens, the most recent Linux kernel is vmlinux-3.5.7* which supports all the Linux distributions and, where appropriate provides, full 2D/3D hardware acceleration with selected graphics card in the 4xxx, 5xxx and 6xxx RadeonHD series.

If you want generate you own kernels you will need the updated patch files which should be applied to 3.5.7 kernel source from http://www.kernel.org/

The modules should have been with the kernel file itself. affs is built in (it is on all my builds) I'll see about compiling the joystick tonight, shouldn't be too hard.

I tried with a USB joypad, supertuxcart sees the joypad (listed under controllers) but I couldn't play the game on it. I don't have a Analogue joystick handy, maybe you will have better luck.

I did get the joypad to work with BZFlag, so the problem lies with STK (or how I tried to activate it)

Anyway, here are a set of additional modules, hopefully one will work for you.

Let me know if they don't.

Darren
