New: Linux Kernel 3.8.7
Hi,
Marcus and I have compiled a new version of the Linux kernel for the X1000. Version 3.8.7 solves problems of the Linux kernel and RadeonHD graphic board which could occur at some OpenGL-based applications just like SuperTuxKart or the Android emulator.
Downloads:
kernel-3.8.7x1000.tar.gz
vmlinux-3.8.7x1000-usb3-nouveau.tar.gz with USB3 and nouveau support. Without the modules directory. You need the modules directory from the first download above.
@marcus: Thank you very much for your Nemo patch
Without your patch it would not have been possible to build the kernel 3.8.7.

And ... Does the new kernel work? Are you satisfied with the new kernel?
By the way Lubuntu 13.04 PowerPC is available:
