I ll try Fedora 19 this weekend. On SSD :-)

Do you advise conservative stable 3.9 kernel or last bugfixed 3.10.15?

Suggestion: once AmigaOS NTFS drivers is done, Nemo, Cyrus and X1000/2000 should be shipped with larger
cards and latest or all kernels in NTFS, being acessable on both sides.

CFE should improve to see EXT4 (that is Hyperions job I assume :-)

You could try the kernel 3.11 or 3.12 if you like. ;)

3.12

There is a mistake in FEDORA section of Linux X1000 install manual - the DropBox account linked
is closed, how to obtain AmigaOne needed files?

The Fedora image is now hosted directly on the A-EON server in the secure download area (or you could download from the link provides by Xeno74 above) along with the other Linux image files and Technical reference manuals. The latest Linux kernel will be uploaded shortly along with an updated version of the Linux installation guide.

Trevor,
the links for MintPPC & fedora both result in downloading
"http://secure.a-eon.biz/download/x1000-wheezy1.2.img.xz"

Also, I've been wandering when will the Live CD become available to purchase?

Thanks,

Just for info:

== Fedora 20 Supported Hardware ==

IBM POWER servers are the only systems fully supported by Fedora 20 for
Power at this time. Apple MacPPC systems, A-EON Nemo systems, and A-EON Cyrus systems are not supported, have not been tested, and are not expected to work.

Fedora 17 works very well with the new kernel 3.13.9:

Does Fedora remove the ppc32 support?

I wrote:
Hi,

A-EON had sold a lot of new PA6T systems (http://www.a-eon.com/?page=nemo), last year. And there are lot of PA6T systems to buy (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/cat ... ts_id=1160). It would be a pity to remove ppc32 support because 64-bit packages won't work. The PA6T is not compatible (enough) to Power5 or newer which is the minimum requirement for 64-bit Fedora to work.

A-EON Nemo board with the PA6T cpu: http://www.supertuxkart-amiga.de/amiga/x1000.html

Please don't remove the ppc32 support. I like Fedora very much and it would be a very pity to remove the ppc32 support.

Christian
