What do you do with Linux on the AmigaOne X1000?

Just for information, AmigaOS can do that too, and very well, thanks to Qt, SMTube and LiveForIt MPlayer.

No, you are quite right, I often do it with smtube only on the aos. I guess it depends on what I'm doing at the moment as sometime it is a matter of comfort, like if right now while using netsurf to write this I would want to view a video. Dailymotion is a different matter :-) as well as torrenting.

I have tried the Java launcher (java -jar Minecraft.jar) but unfortunately the launcher doesn't start. I don't know why.

I think it needs the last version of java not compatible with ppc...maybe openjdk java 6 runtime?
