Hi All,

I modified a bit Firefox ESR 52.3.0 and Thunderbird 52.2.1-5. Now these run on the MATE PowerPC Remix 2017 as well. I uploaded these modified versions to my web space today.

Downloads:

firefox-52.3.0esr-2-32-bit-linux-powerpc.tar.gz

thunderbird-52.2.1-5-32-bit-linux-powerpc.tar.gz

You can start Firefox with ./run_firefox.sh. If you like to create a launcher on the desktop, please use the script run_mpr.sh instead. The same procedure for Thunderbird. You can start it with ./run_thunderbird.sh. For creating a launcher, please use the script run_mpr.sh instead.

Cheers,
Christian

I noticed these [GFX1] errors in a Terminal window startup, but the pages generally looked ok. Maybe not so
much in high-color resolution - is this behind poor printout colors from Firefox?

When you say "subscribe to this bug report", how is this done?
I assume I should get an account on Mozilla Bugzilla first. Then there will be
a choice to vote for that bug?

Thanks,

Tom

Yes, that's correct. First you need an account. After that you can post a comment and subscribe.
