Something interesting. The recent kernel points at an opposite direction the X1000 users are on compared to what I read about on other forums concerning Radeon users and the latest kernel + drivers: while most users report concurring regressions, slowdowns and all around difficulties, users here report more or the same performances and I can say that for me with the same all around performance I get 12%(!) less cpu load that even lowers to 8% system load on idle terms, which means that I can continue with composite, screenlets and effects while doing HD almost without impact.
Now the only thing that remains is that Mozilla apps perform at acceptable rates

"STLAB superspeed usb 3.0 hub" connected via 2.0.
Does the usb hub work with the kernel 3.18?
Cheers,

Re: Kernel 3.18
Unfortunatlly it didn't improve the situation albeit AOS4.1 has the same issue while it has a soft reboot/reattaching the peripherals as a viable solution. In the meantime I've gone back to connecting the keyboard directly and plugging the kernel stick on top of the X1k case.xeno74 wrote:Srtest wrote:"CONFIG_USB_EHCI_ROOT_HUB_TT is not set"
