Any chance it would work better with 4.3? In the thread dedicated to kernel 4.3, the final post is not very encouraging, notably with:
PLEASE use the kernel 4.1 if you want a stable and reliable kernel for your AmigaONE X1000
I am sorry but I don't know what to do, it becomes very difficult to follow. I am convinced my initial request makes sense and would help testers and users (who may be different people).
Hi Corto,

I recommend the longterm kernel 4.1. It's stable and releable. The kernels 4.2 and 4.3 are unstable kernels but with some new features. They are for experienced users. I will release some new versions of the longterm kernel 4.1 in the future. For the installation you could try the kernel 3.19 too.

Cheers,

Christian

Running Linux on AmigaONEs can require some tinkering.
