Hi,

An update to my Ubuntu Remix install and the Radeon HD 6670/R7 250x cards. First. Installed both cards in my x1000. The result was what I expected. Ubuntu did not boot up. Hung on the x1000 brushed steel screen. Besides, it did not make sense putting to different GPU's in place. Second. Ubuntu Remix did not give me consistant reliable boot ups when installed. Would hang on a long list of errors and then "Rebooting in 180 secs". Frustrating.
Although a good card, the Radeon 6670 did not give optimal performance under Amiga OS 4.1 FE. So to sum up, I went back to the R7 250x card which renders great video playback and streaming under AOS. Linux is a little too much tweaking for me. I am looking forward to further developement to run the the R7 250x. It was very rewarding going through all the steps in order to get the Remix installed. Proves that this is a very powerful NG Amiga. I hope to see the full 4 GB RAM report under CFE and Linux as well as I wish to upgrade to 8 GB of Ram. Experience is an awesome teacher. Thanks.

Cheers!!
