Hi!

Considering the MSI Radeon R7 370 4g graphics card. Newer card based on Curacao Pro GPU. If you note page 3 in the article link below it talks about Gallium3D and Catalyst 15.7 compatibilty. Just wanted to get your input before investing in this GPU. I think it would perform fantastic and I would hope to boot up the new Kernel and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS DVD with no problem. The thought of an updated Radeon HD running in my x1000 is good. I am willing to try if you think it is possible. Advise please.

Thank you and Cheers!!

John

I recommend to buy a 6xxx series graphics card for a good performance with PPC Linux.

Sounds good. I will invest in a better performing 6xxx series than the 6670. In fact, I should have taken your recommendation of the 6870 to begin with for all around performance. I bought the XFX 6670 and do not like it's performance. MSI, Sapphire or Asus will be the choices. Thanks again!

Cheers!!
