I can't tell the difference this is valid in my case since after Alpha 1.
Which gcc version?

Mine are built with 4.9.3-14
A-Eon A1X1000 ATI HD6850, Creative SB1570 PCIe, RTL8139 net PCI.

What about the kernel 4.7.2?
It gets past that initial booting screen like any other working kernel but gets stuck on that initramfs btrfs issue on initrd.img or getting stuck at oops on kernel only.

And what about the stable longterm kernel 4.1.31?

Hi All,

The RC4 of kernel 4.8 is available for testing.

New:
Download: vmlinux-4.8-rc4-AmigaONE_X1000.tar.gz

@Darren: I was able to patch the RC4 source code with your new patch.

Screenshot of openSUSE Tumbleweed PPC64 with the new kernel 4.8-rc4:

Please test the RC4.

Thanks in advance,

Christian

Did you notice there were 20 changes to BTRFS. I'm calling them changes and not fixes because............... well, you know .

That is very good news. Kudos to Darren.

Right now I'm trying a 4.8rc4 build with gcc 5.4. I'll post when finished.

Edit:

Finished.

Boots and works using gcc 5.4 Deb-stretch. No SECCOMP.
