Just a first try. This one used the 4.7-5 patch.

It's a good morning here.

I rebuilt 4.7.2 with Darrens 4.8 patch today using gcc5 in debian-stretch and everything is working great. I also selected optimize_for_performance and things do seem quicker. Time will tell.

That sounds interesting. Can I enable it in the kernel config?

Running Linux on AmigaONEs can require some tinkering.

Yes.

It's under General Setup a little below Namespace support.

I have not run into anything funny going on with it active (yet).
