Hi All,
Some patches have been added to the Linux Git so I compiled the
alpha6 for testing today.
New:
Download:
vmlinux-4.11-alpha6-AmigaONE_X1000.tar.gz
I successfully upgraded some packages on
ubuntu MATE 17.04 PowerPC today.
Please test it with a R9 270X because of the new firmware
si58_mc.bin.

Thanks for info.
It meant that I could fix an error in my samba installation.
(pkg: error behamdling of package system-config-samba)
That is now solved and I could re-install samba

Hi All,
The merge window is over and here is the
first release candidate for testing.
The last two merge window weeks were successful for us because three patches by Darren were added to the Linux Git and I was able to fix the problem with the declaration of 'isa_bridge_find_early'. Additionally I deactivated the kernel option 'PASEMI_IOMMU_DMA_FORCE' and added the new firmware 'si58_mc.bin' for the Radeon R9 270X to the kernel. Now we have a very small Nemo patch because of Darren's patches.

Hi All,
I have recently released the
RC2. There was a problem with booting the RC2. I figured out that the problem is somewhere in the memory management subsystem of the kernel. New patches were integrated for the '
mm' last days. Fortunately the kernel developers fixed the problem for the
RC3. If you want to compile the
RC2, then you need to patch the kernel source code with the
gup.patch. You can find this patch in the
kernel 4.11-rc2 X1000 package.
