I have recently released the stable kernel 4.14.14 for the X5000 and X1000.

I cross compiled the stable longterm kernel 4.14.24 on my PC. Could you please test it on your X1000?

Have tried to boot UBUNTU-REMIX-8 with vmlinux-4.14 and get this error
ran off end of fat chain!
fat entries should be >=2

Thanks for testing! Maybe a problem with the CF card. Could you also please test the kernel 4.14.22?

I successfully tested the stable longterm kernel 4.14.24 on my AmigaOne X1000 today. It boots without any problems. I think it is a problem with your CF card. Could you please test the kernel 4.14.22 additionally?
