I quickly needed a HD on another machine and now that I put it back in the A1X1000 I'm having difficulties installing _ANY_ Linux (Debian, Remix2017, 16.04 base, 16.04 LiveDVD). To the extent that I can't even boot the LiveDVD (using version 3 of the iso I found in some thread here and downloaded from your server. Thanks for all the work BTW).
I'll try again tonight and if I succeed I will test the 4.17 RC6

cross compiled the kernels on my PC today. Please test them on your X5000 and X1000.

I released the RC7 of kernel 4.17 for the X5000, X1000, and for virtual e5500 QEMU machines today.
Download: vmlinux-4.17-rc7-AmigaOne_X1000_X5000.tar.gz
kernel 4.17-rc7 looks good here on the X1000.
(as also does 4.17-r6)
