(1) Generic Kernel
Supports all Radeon cards that firmrware exists for in /lib/firmware/radeon .
Will not display the early console boot info and Linux logo.
Display needs the modules to be installed to work . Radeon Firmware may also need to be updated for the Nothern Islands and Southern Islands cards as the format has changed from the ones included in the previous Linux installers .
(2) Kernel a
Builtin firware support for following series Radeon video cards.
Display works without modules and the correct version of the Radeon Firmware is included in the kernel.

Radeon HD6450
Radeon HD6570/HD6670
Radeon HD7750/HD7770/R7-250X
Radeon R7-265

Can someone please test this Sam440ep 3.18.11 kernel .
I am working on an updated Debian Jessie installer and need to be sure that the kernel works ok .

4.0.0-a works with my Sam460 + R7 265 + Ubunto 14.04.2 LTS
However when I tried it to use kernel for Debian Jessie install, nothing happens after selecting it from menu.lst
Nothing in serial...
Is this kernel not compatible with install ramdisk ?
