This might be a hilariously stupid question, but i've downloaded the .img file, but how do i extract it (or the likes) to a usb drive? simply copy it or?
the files menu.lst, ub2lb and parthenope are on the root of the usb drive. there's also two folders, Kernel and Sam460ex.
the kernel folder contains a file called "Sam460ex-3.19.2.tar.gz"
the sam460 folder contains the files canyonlands.dtb, preseed.cfg, sam460ex_install.sh, uimage-sam460ex-4.5.0, uramdisk jessie cd-1 and net-2 and xorg.conf
i've edited the menu.lst to kernel Sam460ex-4.6.2.tar.gz instead of the original.
I guess i'm really asking, what do i need to boot and install the newest (preferrably debian) build with the latest possible kernel (4.6.2?) either from usb pen or preferrably from a hd partition.
I guess i need some mix of kernel and netinstall iso files?
Partition number 7 on my sii3512 is formatted with sfs/00 and is what i installed ubuntu mate with, and it worked. would this be sda7 or sdb7 since it's on the pci sata controlled?
