Your new kernel works on my Sam440ep Flex with the Radeon 9250 PCI. But my sound doesn't work. Do you have any suggestions of solving my sound issues? I've uploaded your new kernel: Sam440ep-3.13.1-2.tar.gz. Thank you very much. :)

In Lubuntu you have to add audio to your user group.
From the menu
System Tools
Users and Groups
Then from the User Settings Dialog
Manage Groups
Select
audio
Prroperties
select the dialog box in front of your name so that the tickmark appears
Select ok and do the authentification.

You need to reboot.

Test the audio by playing something in Audacious

Spectre, you're great! It works! Sorry, I do forget again and again that I have to add my user to the group "audio" and "video".

Code: Select all

sudo usermod -aG audio christian

Code: Select all

sudo usermod -aG video christian
Your MPlayer works very well on my Sam440ep Flex. :-)

@ Xeno74

Mplayer works for audio under Lubuntu. not getting video to work .
May have to recompile the Lubuntu version.
I did this one under Debian Wheezy and both audio and video work in Debian .

Can you try this mplayer please .
It is Mplayer2 compiled under Lubuntu 14.04.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/542 ... b7f.tar.gz

copy the mplayer file in the archive to /usr/local/bin
install smplayer and run. (sudo apt-get install smpalyer)
Select options and then preferences from the Smplayer menu.
use the mplayer executable: option to set the mplayer used to /user/local/bin/mplayer .
Select audio.
change the output driver to alsa (0,0 - Cirrus Logic CS4281).
Click on Apply then ok

Drag and drop an audio file or Video file into the Smplayer window.

New Sam440ep Lubuntu 14.04 installer boot iso.

Kernel 3.13.1 . Colour issue on Radeon 9250 fixed. :D
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/542 ... Boot-3.iso

You also need to download the Lubuntu 14.04 PowerPC alternate installer iso if you have not already done so.
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily ... owerpc.iso

after booting your Sam with the boot CD and getting the Language Selection screen remove the boot CD and replace it with the alternate installer CD.

Does it work on SAM460 or you have to make a separate release?
