Got it done and working by following some instructions for G3 macs.
Have used it with open with and custom Command Line option .
Cyrus will have this issue too due to no altivec .

Copy binaries to /usr/local/bin
delete the default mplayer from /user/bin .
Selct Movie Player in Sound & Video Menu and then Properties.

Mplayer binary compiled withot altivec.
