Amiga X5000, Getting on the Interent? And Sound?

Hi Guys
I have a Ethernet card which was supplied with the motherboard however now I need to try to work out how I can get it work so I can get online I have got settings up in workbench and then I have gone into internet folder and I have gone new connection and when I put all my details in it fails, input and output error, and could not add interface,, can anyone advise has i am proberly doing something wrong which could be simple to sort out.. also sound is there any way on Amiga OS 4.1 Final Edition where I can test the sound card that I have??
Hope some one can help feel a bit lost

ok we have sorted the sound out..
just the internet now

What sort of network connection do you have?

we got three network cards, one onboard and one PCI "ETH3COM" we also have tried a RTL8139 and no use..

we have two onboard and one PCI, RTL8139 and also ETH3COM and no good...

RE: Internet. Try the 'Internet Wizard' from the install CD.
RE: Sound. AHI preferences has a 'Play a test sound button". If the card is working and correctly
configured, a nice clear tone will be played.
