There are drivers for RTL8139 and 8169 PCI cards. They are cheap as dirt and guaranteed to work. One betatester claimed to be able to use an 8168 with the 8169 driver, but that combination is not guaranteed to work.
Since I tested one PCI-E 8168 ethernet card in my X1000, many others have bought the same card as me (even resellers like Relec) and they are all working flawlessly (either in X1000 or X5000).

I sometimes achieve speeds as high as 300Mbps (about 30MB/s but CPU is limiting higher speeds).

Mine came with a PCIe 8169 based card - I've had 0 problems after I got rid of the crappy soundcard.

Corsair K70 keyboard works but there is a DSI at startup "HID Keyboard", it seems safe to just kill that task.
D-Link DWL-G520 wireless PCI card seems to freeze up every so often, could be a defective card though.

I see my Amiga OS 4.1FE has these files so they should be there altready.
Not sure if they were part of the enhancer install or part of the OS install.
But mine has these.

Same for me. I am trying the SB Live card and get nothing.

I removed my Sound Card that had been working from the PCI slot (it worked but then died after few minutes or something else closed it off) and replaced with the same SB Live board from the link Acill provided.

Rebooted system and no sound. Open the Sound Prefs and I no longer see the CM8738 sound card that had been there for my last sound card but no new card is showing up that I can see in the prefs for Mode Settings.

I have a whole bunch of Filesave options and a few Unit 0 options but non seem to achieve sound.

Should some new sound card be showing in this Music Unit Mode Settings that represents the SB Live?

I confirmed I have the two Emu drivers that had already been in the DEVs. In the Dev/AHI directory I have emu10kx.audio (version 6.7) and Dev/AudioModes EMU10kx.

Am I missing something?

Perhaps you should fix the software setup of your 8169 PCI-e network card. Others use them without a hitch, so it's almost certainly only a setup problem in your case. I've seen some discussion but I can't find the thread, so please remind me and I'll see if I can help.
I think the card itself is bad. Nothing has worked after trying everyhting recomended.
Acill, what settings do you have for this SB Live to work.

Does it appear in your Sound Prefs Mode Settings Music Unit ? Mine does not show any SB lIve or anything like that. Just Filesave and Unit 0 options and non of those appear to work.
