Can you share what you did to make VLC work on your X5000?
I'm trying to build VLC from source but it has many, many build dependencies...
I am not sure if I need to build all VLC from source, or just a few libraries?
I hope you can let me know! I see from your videos you have a very nice YouTube playback performance!

No Vlc on my X5000 im using it on quad g5 (altivec is needed)
but im using the great kodi on Mate.

about youtube it is all relative of gpu, xorg version and mesa . 720p are not a problem for X5000 on Firefox... high resolution (1080p and k4) working but have much frame drops because not mp4 gpu decoding.
