Hi, to all.
I'm new in Linux.
Install Lubuntu 16.04 LTS3 with your last kernel 4.9.61.
Works, a bit slow, but works, make the system updates and try TuxKarts.
I only get a blank window with the name, so I think that I make something wrong.
What ?
Install other simple game ( power manga )and it works fine.
Thanks

Virginio

Hi Virginio,

Could you please post the output of glxinfo | grep -i opengl ?

Thanks,
Christian

Hi, Spectre.

Hi Virginio,

Linux PowerPC doesn't offer hardware 3D acceleration for your graphics card. The behaviour of SuperTuxKart is normal. It needs hardware 3D acceleration.

Cheers,
Christian

I imagined it, thanks for the confirmation.

Greetings.

Virginio

P.D. I have a 9250 pci, can I put both?
So would I have 3D by the 9250?
How to do it ?

Thank you very much and apologize for any inconvenience.

With the Radeon 9250 PCI heavy 3D stuff like games are causing screen corruption then crash.
Blender gui is working . Neverball works.
I am trying to get my hands on a PCI Radeon HD to test but I not sure if it will work well.
The PCI Radeon HD's have PEX 8112 bridge chip.
Using a PCI to PCIE adpater with the PEX 8112 bridge chip and a PCIE Radeon HD worked under Linux but was slow and caused AmigaOS 4.1 to freeze just as Workbench was being displayed during boot.
So apparently a problem with AmigaOS 4.1 ?
