Thanks a lot for testing the RC6! Fantastic, you also use a TV device. :-)

Cheers,

Hi All,

I released the RC7 for the X5000 and X1000 today.

New:
Download: vmlinux-4.16-rc7-AmigaOne_X1000_X5000.tar.gz

Screenshot of ubuntu MATE 16.04.4 LTS PowerPC with the RC7 of kernel 4.16 and with access to the Typhoon TView RDS + FM Stereo TV card:

Please test it.

Thanks,
Christian

Kernel 4.16 RC7 up and Running! :-)

The DPAA Network patches which are now compiled in the kernel do not fix the X5000 ethernet problems. :-(
My USB PCTV DVB-T stick also stopped working with RC7. :-(

Many thanks for testing! Have you seen any error messages because of your USB PCTV DVB-T stick?

I will do some troubleshooting hopefully this evening.

Keep you posted!

My USB DVB-T stick is working again.. did a remove of TOTEM videoplayer, which i had installed previously... ( if this was really the problem is hard to tell..but working again)

the DPAA network issues still remain... Again i have made a video (with a screenscrabber this time, much better quality) where u can see the traffic die....

Many thanks for the video! Could you please send it to Camelia and Madalin or post it to the Linuxppc-dev mailing list?
