I tried to follow the suggestion to empty my Trash, but it refuses to empty!
Hi Kilaueabart,

Please increase the size of the partition with GParted from an other Linux system.
Looks like that did the trick! Firefox works fine now. I was able to empty my Trash on 2nd try even before resizing. A lot of things seem to work when I try them a second time the same way!

As before, no USB problems with keyboard or trackball. What else should I test?

Hi All,

Darren has figured out where the problem is with USB devices on the X5000. He did a bisect and found the bad commit. He also found a bad kernel config option. Disabling 'HAVE_ARCH_PREL32_RELOCATIONS' in arch/powerpc/Kconfig will fix the problems. He reported the bad commit to the Linuxppc-dev mailing list today.

I have tested Julians RC1 JM3 version on my X5000 without a soundblaster Live (but M-Audio Revolution 5.1 Envy24GT) Card.

Working fine!
