X1000 YouTube via ViewTube and VLC Plugin?

Post by caseycullen »

Can anyone with an X1000 tell me if they're still able to watch YouTube using Greasemonkey with the ViewTube script and VLC plugin?
((I know this is the X5000 forum, I can't post on X1000)).

huh, neat...
Anyways, here's VLC without Altivec for X5000.
I built it on Debian unstable so it might not work with previous libraries.

Hi Casey,

There was a problem with ViewTube. I wasn't able to watch YouTube anymore. I installed the new version 2018.08.08 of ViewTube today and after that I can watch YouTube videos again. :-)

Screenshot of ubuntu MATE 16.04.5 PowerPC with the RC1 of kernel 4.19 and with ViewTube HD 2018.08.08:
