XORRO Prototyping/Expansion board

Post by amb5l »

Hi all,

We've tested the first prototyping board for the XORRO slot on the Nemo mainboard. You can see a video of it here:

James will post some additional notes and pictures.

Oooh, cool.

Being a BeBox lover, and the X1000 Case has some nice slits on both sides of the front face of the case, it would be bad ass if they made a CPU Monitor/ HDD Access LED light array that was like the BeBox and design one for the X1000.

hehehe

I always loved and still do the BeBoxen Blinken Lights on the case and was cool seeing them showing CPU Activity and HDD Access. Go one step further and have a music mode that the lights go nuts when playing music. 8-)

I'd like to see a set of LEDs that show the current bus address and data, just like the old days. No, come to think of it, those were incandescent lamps...
cheers

tonyw: Are you sure they weren't nixie tubes?

I'm already wondering how long it will take to define that connector in Eagle.
No, I'm doing SOFTWARE this week.. Keep telling myself,, SOFTWARE, SOFTWARE..

Save the hardware projects for some other time!

When and where will these prototyping/expansion boards be available, and at what price?
