The only oddity I see now is the Extras Installer that was copied over to the stick with DD.
As we know all those files are on the CD so when I click on the USB Drivers Extras Installer that is on the desktop, it asks for the CD.
Any way to get it pointed to the extras on the USB stick now?
Not a big issue as long as the main OS can be installed. That is the main reason I want it.
I don't have a spare drive to attempt an install from USB stick to see if the basics work or not but guessing the main OS should be OK and CD Extra's will have to be hand-done.

Is this with the copy to a NGFS partition method ?
if so you need to change the USB drive volume name to
AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition

Makes sense to me now....
I had a typo in the name.... now it works.
Always a casualty of manually doing these with fat fingers.
