Hi All,

Here is a new version of the stable longterm kernel 4.9 with the BFQ I/O scheduler for the AmigaOne X5000 and X1000.

New:
Download: vmlinux-4.9.55-AmigaONE_X1000_X5000.tar.gz

Screenshot of ubuntu MATE 16.04.3 LTS PowerPC with the stable longterm kernel 4.9.55 on an AmigaOne X1000:

Image

Please note: It seems there is a network bug in this kernel:

Code: Select all

Revert "socket, bpf: fix possible use after free"

This reverts commit 02f7e4101092b88e57c73171174976c8a72a3eba, which was
commit 02f7e4101092b88e57c73171174976c8a72a3eba upstream

Turns out the backport to 4.9 was broken.

On my X1000 and X5000 the ethernet network interfaces don't work. WLAN works without any problems.

Christian

@Julian
Could you please test the stable longterm kernel 4.9.61 on your X5000? I would like to know if it boots with your graphics cards.
