Copying of SuperTuxCart settings from a distro to another

Post by Roland »

I downloaded succesfully the latest Mate 17.04 Remix 0.8 -image, but have not yet installed it.

How could I transfer the SuperTuxCart settings & scores from the older Remix 0.5 I have used so far? What files should be copied and where are they located? I was not able to find them myself...

Do I have to login as 'root' (e.g. via Debian or OpenSuse as I am used to do in similar cases, as I prefer to use the graphical interphase), in order to be able to acess and copy these files?

The files are in the directory: .config/supertuxkart/ in your home directory. You don't need to be root to copy this directory.

Running Linux on AmigaONEs can require some tinkering.

Thanks! I had to first select 'show hidden files' in the file browser, no wonder I did not find them earlier... ;)
