Just a quick question: Should I copy all the included modules somewhere?
Hi JohnFante,

Many thanks for testing! Yes, you could copy the kernel modules directory to /lib/modules if you like. With the copied kernel modules directory you get new hardware drivers. ;-)

Have a lot of fun with Linux on your X5000! :-)

Christian

Hi All,

I released the kernel 4.10.17 for the AmigaOne X5000 today. I added the QorIQ DPAA Ethernet driver to the kernel 4.10.17 because the kernel 4.10 was the first mainline vanilla kernel with QorIQ DPAA Ethernet support. My I idea is to test the first version of the QorIQ DPAA Ethernet driver. If it works, then I will compile the kernel 4.11 with the QorIQ DPAA Ethernet for testing. I want to know, since when the driver has stopped to work.

Download: vmlinux-4.10.17-AmigaONE_X5000.tar.gz

Please test it with the Cyrus eth dtb.

Thanks,
Christian
