Kernel 15.1 Up and running.. :-)

Image

DPAA Ethernet functionality has become worse..

For example these weird ping responses to the same addresses... and after 12 packets it stops
It has to be the QMAN/BMAN buffer DPAA part of the driver. Its only when using the DPAA ethernet adapter. Every other NIC is working.

The Freescale DPAA architecture consists of a series of hardware blocks
that support Ethernet connectivity. The Ethernet driver depends upon the
following drivers in the Linux kernel:

- Peripheral Access Memory Unit (PAMU) (* needed only for PPC platforms)
drivers/iommu/fsl_*
- Frame Manager (FMan)
drivers/net/ethernet/freescale/fman
- Queue Manager (QMan), Buffer Manager (BMan)
drivers/soc/fsl/qbman

Hi All,

Here is the third update of the stable kernel 4.15.

New:
Download: vmlinux-4.15.3-AmigaOne_X1000_X5000.tar.gz

Additionally I compiled the stable kernel 4.15.3 with the enabled kernel option CONFIG_MATH_EMULATION_HW_UNIMPLEMENTED for the X5000.

Download: vmlinux-4.15.3-AmigaOne_X5000_math_emulation.tar.gz

Screenshot of Debian Buster/Sid PPC64 with the stable kernel 4.15.3 and with the new MATE 1.20.0 on an AmigaOne X5000:

Thank you! :-) Have you tested both kernels? If yes, did you notice some differences between both kernels?

With the unimplemented math version..

When loading the welcome screen an error occurs.

But overall no real noticeable differences yet..
